House Breaking and Scent Marking

For house breaking and scent marking the belly band is used as a training
aid.  You will want your little guy to be uncomfortable when he does the
“BAD”.  So, don’t take the band off immediate let him be uncomfortable and
feel the consequence of his actions.  The belly band prevents you from having
to catch him in the act to correct him.  The name of the game with these two
situations is to “out smart him”.  Don’t laugh – the little guys are intelligent
and remember what they are doing comes naturally
